I'm hoping this is the kicker that finally ends this stupid organization. They've been on a downward spiral for a while.
I hope no one pickets his funeral...that makes them no better than him.

He was thrown out of the church by his family several years ago, so I'm sure they will keep on spewing hate, sadly.
It's times like these I wish I believed in God, because if God exists, Fred is in for one hell of a surprise (pun intended)

There's also a Most Hated Family in America in Crisis on YouTube. It's a follow up. Most of the people seen in the first one have left or been kicked out by then. Their numbers are decreasing fast.

I hope no one pickets his funeral, but I read somewhere that WBC was planning on it, which just seems so ridiculous and ironic.

I wish people wouldn't give them the finger or roll down their windows to talk. It only feeds their insanity. People need to just ignore them and make them feel completely irrelevant.

I love the part in the documentary where Fred is preaching and it shows how ridiculous his beliefs are. He rambles on about something and just shouts YOURE GONNA EAT YER BABIES!!!

He was ex-communicated from the 'church' I grew up about 20 min from there and am so embarrassed when people ask me about WBC. It's actually a very small group, almost all of them are related, and nobody in Kansas believes the crazy they deliver.
His ex-communication from the church doesn't show a dissolve of the church though, many of his children/followers are still just as crazy and hateful as he is.
I've seen their protests forts hand on MANY occasions and it's gut wrenching because you want to fight back but that makes you no better than they are.

@Danizaur: it's a core group of the extended family so there's only so many before it dissolves, just not sure how soon that will happen. They have strong kool-aid
@.twist.: nope, it's been VERY tight lipped, it was late summer that it happened but nobody has said what the reason was.

This is a screenshot of the Facebook status for the equality house, very cool group. This guy bought a house across the street and painted it to look like the LGBT flag and I've seen some weddings performed out front.
