Oh man I only got 79 lol. I always knew geography was not my strong suit Although I think given a bit more time I could do more. I was still thinking of countries as the clock ran out. And I totally forgot one country I've even visited! lol (Monaco)

oi that was hard!! I am ashamed of myself. I missed a lot of Africa.
I got 99. But it's nice to see that I got some countries that a large percentage of people miss!

@sunny: I did the US states one! haha. Got most of them - I totally blanked on Delaware!

@Mrs. Pen: lol ok now I feel a little better. Did the US one and got all the states with 1:36 to spare.

@Mrs. Pen: We once played the name the states game while camping (we're Canadian) and I said Delaware, which my friend was convinced didn't exist!!

I can name every country in the world, but that's only because I'm a dork and I memorized it. And then I challenged my 8th graders to a geography duel (18 of them v me) and won.

@Anagram: sweeeet. I am a fellow geography nerd, and I salute you. Pretty sure I could fill in an entire world map

@Arden: I knew you would get a crazy high score Can you pick them all out on a map? I can't even get close.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Anagram: you're amazing!
@tinyperson: ahahah. that's just sad.
@sunny: noooo!! how could you do that to me!!
honeydew / 7589 posts
@sunny: I can do all of Europe and the Middle East. I'm a little shaky on South America and Asia, and very shaky on Africa.

@Arden: impressive! I got 140. Some of the tiny African coastal countries were driving me nutty.

I got 81. There was a time that I knew every single country and it's capital. Not anymore obviously!

129... I used to be so much better at this!
ETA I used to be so much better because I was a really cool kid that would quiz myself on countries and states for fun

I've created a monster...DH just got 181 and has now found more quizzes on this site. AAAAAAAAHHHhhh!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@LovelyPlum: after I took this, I also wasted an hour on that site.

@Mrs. Pen: disaster. I should have known this was coming. I'm about to pull him away so we can go get some food, but I know full well that I'll lose him again when we're home

....and now he's bitching that the shape of the Ukraine on their maps is no longer correct...my husband is ridiculous

@Mrs. Yoyo: right? Sao Verde, Comoros, and The Gambia are always so hard for me to remember!
I work with a guy from Liberia so I'm always inserting my "helpful" knowledge of geography into conversations to feel self important and smug. Like...he'll say, "when I was growing up, my family would go to a nearby country to vacation" and I'll jump in and be like "Oh, are you talking about Sierra Leone? Or Ivory Coast? Or Guinea?" because I'm insufferable like that.

@Mrs. Pen: I told ya it was a time waster
@Anagram: LOL! I don't even know if those are in east or west Africa!

I only got 88. My brain just stopped working. When the answers came up, I realize I guessed some of the most obscure ones and left some of the super obvious ones. Doh!

I got 142! I missed most of the Pacific island ones, and all of those tiny little itty bitty ones like San Marino. Africa was my worst continent, by far
grapefruit / 4819 posts
@Anagram: Me too! And then to top it off, I also memorized the capital of every country in the world (and can identify every country on an unlabelled map) because I am a HUGE dork and love geography! It has come in very handy though in my world travels

I got 116! Darn.
That being said, in high school I had them all memorized. I took a World History course (or something like that) and the final exam was a blank map and we had to fill in every country in the world. I only missed 4. Alas, that was a long time ago and my brain is obviously very gushy now.
While doing this test I had three minutes left and for the life of me couldn't get past 116. I started typing in things like "north pole," "south pole," and "Antartica." *hangs head in shame*

I got 135. I struggled with Africa, Central and South America and some of the former Yugoslavian countries.
And I missed Vanuatu, which is kind of embarassing considering my grandparents lived there!
And Singapore, considering I have been there in the last couple of years. Whoops!
