I finally decided to order something from PBK (our first purchase from there ever because Wagon Sr. hates them with a passion... mostly because of how pricey things are compared to other stores) and of course something goes wrong. We ordered 4 of their quilted Christmas stockings, all in different designs, and all personalized with our names. I was so excited about this because I was waiting for the past 3 years to have our second baby (and know their name) so we could all order coordinating personalized Christmas stockings. So we got a train for WS, a santa for me, a snowman for WJ, and a reindeer for LMW. They arrived yesterday, and all of them look fine EXCEPT WJ's stocking is a reindeer (so the same stocking as LMW!) AND his name is completely off-center both horizontally and vertically. I called customer service and they offered to either replace it or give me a 50% discount on the stocking, which were nice choices.
BUT they are completely sold out of the snowman stocking, and the only ones they had left in stock were girly things like angels, ballerinas, and dolls. And of course the reindeer. So I asked them if they could replace BOTH WJ and LMW's stockings to give WJ the reindeer (with a better personalization job done to it) and give LMW one of the girly ones and they agreed to do that. So two new stockings are on their way.
BUT I realized after I hung up the phone that this means that WS's stocking has a red background and the rest of us have a blue background. I set everything up this way because WS's train stocking and WJ's snowman stockings would have matched with the red, and mine and LMW's would have matched with the blue. Now WS's stocking will look out of place.
GRRR. I'm pretty pissed about this. Even though the stockings were on major sale, with all the personalization it all came out to over $100. That's a lot of money to be spent on a set of stockings that I'm not happy with.
Come to think of it, I should have just returned everything and asked for my money back.
Ack. First world problems.
