Friday was Mavrick's 2nd birthday and we decided to celebrate his birthday on Saturday. Well friday night he started having a pretty intense cough... and come saturday afternoon (with a house full of guests) he seemed to have a hard time breathing not to mention he had fever. DH brought him to the hospital and he stayed for two nights.

He was diagnosed with a severe faux croup, bronchitis and a massive ear infection. Poor baby hit the jackpot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croup
He was on ventilators, antibotics and IV. Let's just say my heart was aching for him. It's so hard as a parent to keep your cool in a situation like that.

He's feeling better now (and finally got home today) but I just hope you never have to live through having your LO in the hospital for whatever reason.
