I'm thinking of making "fruit pizza" for a playdate tomorrow. I just don't want it to be a Pinterest fail! Anyone tried it? How did it turn out? Care to share the recipe?

I've never made this but everything I've tried from her is good - http://www.skinnytaste.com/2014/05/fruit-pizza.html

I LOVE fruit pizza but I just use store bought everything!
Sugar cookie for the crust, and cream cheese frosting. My fav. fruits are strawberries (I usually coat in a strawberry gel), blueberries, and kiwi.

That looks AMAZING. I think if you use a sugar cookie for the crust you won't have a lot of flop happening. It's going to be so good! Now I want one.

@josina: Thanks! I did storebought everything too!
@avivoca: I guess you don't know me that well. It still turned out like 10% as cute as the picture
There was some cracking so I didn't get perfect triangle slices.
Can I just take this chance to ask a related question and not have to start a new thread?
Do you think about 20 pieces of fruit pizza, about 20 banana muffins, and a cheese/cracker/grape plate is enough for about 8 moms & 10 kids? It's mid-morning and usually the snacks are light, but now I am realizing that there's really only enough for each mom AND kid to have one of each thing. I'm wondering if I should run out for some hummus and pretzel crisps in the AM.

That's enough for everyone to try one of each thing. I think you'll be fine. That sounds like some decent snacking. When other moms host do they typically have more food?

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: It varies. Some will have a huge spread and some will just do cheese, crackers and fruit. We are going to have a smaller crowd than some of the playdates we go to (we are just starting up a sub-group of our larger play group for my neighborhood) so I decided to not go overboard - I hope we don't have a huge turn out, haha!
Oh, and I also made fruit tea and I have juice pouches for the kiddos. So at least the table will look pretty full.
