As some of you may know I had my gallbladder taken out this last Friday. Saturday I sat around all day watching teen mom & Sunday I was feeling pretty good. I even got all the papers on my desk filed away.
At about 630/7pm last night I got up to go ask DH if he would cook something cause I was hungry. Just then I started having sharp stabbing pains in my chest, & along the right side (where the gallbladder is). I had to txt DH to tell him I was in pain because I couldn't yell at him because it hurt so bad. I asked him to call the DR. I told him it didn't feel right & that it was burning. The DR. did tell me before we left the hospital that I might have symptoms from the air remaining in my belly that feel like a heart attack. Right after DH had talked to the hospital I told him to call 911.
Why is it that they always seem to move a lot faster in the movies & on TV then they do in real life. I was in SO much pain! Something just didn't feel right. We got to the ER they kept pumping me full of morphine & nothing was working! It took over 8 shots before I started to feel relaxed enough to stop balling.
We waited almost 2 hours to get in for an ultra sound. They had to call her in sense she was on call for the weekend. REALLY?! It's a hospital! STAFF IT! Anyways the ultra sound was normal, THANK GOD! So they said it had to be from the air they pumped in me during surgery.
The morphine hardly helped but they sent me home anyways but with oxycodone. That wore off after an hour. So here I sit at home in the same pain I was before going to the hospital. I'm trying to be real quite because DH has to go to work in a few hours. I can't help but feel let down by my DR's & nurses. I have a follow up with the surgeon today but in the mean time this is what I get.
