We have a woodburning fireplace in our living room. We used to use it a lot before M was born but it kind of seems like a pain with a toddler. I used to hate the idea of a gas one but now I can see the appeal!

I love the idea of a wood-burning fireplace but I can understand the convenience of gas. Pretty much every home we look at has a fireplace so I guess we will make a conversion decision once the time comes.

We have a gas one that we use ALL THE TIME. I miss the sound and smell of a wood burning one, but I do love the ease of this one.
