For the team greenies out there, would you ever do a gender reveal party after birth? I guess kind of like a sip and see but with no gifts? Or is that just weird?

So, have the baby, and still not tell the gender until a party? Like open the diaper and everyone take a peek? Not for me LOL

If you want to do a sip and see, do a sip and see and specify no gifts and don't make a public registry.

I don't think that would really work. Like @Highwire said, you'd basically have to keep all info about the baby a secret until the party! Sounds difficult! lol

@highwire: lol I don't even know how it would work. A coworker asked me last night if I'm having a gender reveal party and after I told her were team green she said just have it after birth.

@looch: ya, not really sure if she knows someone that actually did it, or was just wanting me to have one. I could hardly keep my bfp a secret the day of, there is no way I could keep the gender a secret for weeks after birth!

No. For me, half the fun is going to be saying "it's a boy/girl" every time we tell someone the baby is here. It will have been a secret long enough.

I think just a general sip and see would be fun! Except I didn't want to tolerate visitors for a long time after birth.
