I hate to be that FTM that gets anxious about nothing....and yet here I am anyway! I had my first appointment today, and the NP said she could see a gestational sac and a yolk sac but no fetal pole (that she mentioned anyway) and no heartbeat. Going by my last period, I should be about 6W2D now. I've been having long cycles, though, so before the US even happened the NP said I may have ovulated late.

She didn't seem too concerned, and I'll be going back Jan. 5. I know it's early, but can anyone humor me with stories of similar experiences that turned out well? Jan. 5 feels a long way away, and I'd like to ease my mind a bit if possible
