I love Christmastime and usually go all out decorating the day after Thanksgiving (sometimes earlier), but seem to be really slow this year. None of my garlands are up, I haven't put the tree up, and we've barely managed to put some lights on some shrubs outside. I noticed that my neighbors seem to be going through the same thing - by this time the neighborhood is usually full of lights and decorations but so far it's looking sparse! I don't know if it's because we had really warm weather followed by snowstorms? Anyone else feeling like this?

We got our outside done right away after Thanksgiving. But there is not a single Christmas item up inside my house. Mainly because my LO's birthday party was last Saturday and I didn't want it to be Christmas-y. But at this point I almost just want to skip it. We fly home next Sunday to have Christmas with our families in Mass and it seems like a waste of effort to have the decor up for one week. I'm normally super in to Christmas, but this year, I'm just too tired.

I'm not as into it this year either... we put a tree up, pretty unenthusiastically (very unlike me) and I haven't done anything else. It just creeped up on me and now its already the 13th so I'm unmotivated. We leave in a week for my brother's house anyway.

We've been a tad busy with our 2 month old but we managed to get the tree up and a *few* lights up outside. I also put some candlestick lights in the windows. When I'm out at night I did notice that there does not seem to be as many lights up on people's homes this year.

I actually had to start early this year because I need to have everything done by the 17th since my transfer is the 18th and I have to be on bed rest a couple days after that. Then we're going out of town. I feel pretty rushed and like I can't enjoy it as much!

We're not ready either. Our tree isn't up and no decorations. At least we are done with our shopping thanks to internet deals!

I had high hopes, but right now haven't accomplished anything with my 2 month old. I'm hoping that will change this weekend. Fingers crossed!!!

Our decorations are all up, but I'm having a hard time feeling like it's Christmas. Weird? I'm hoping that this week I can start to get some shopping done and do some more Christmas-y things.

Thanksgiving was really late this year so we just got our tree and decorations up last weekend! We still need to finish Christmas shopping and Christmas is only a week and a half away!

Last year I was so sick that I didn't do any decorating not even gifts it was really bad.this year I'm trying to make up for it but so far only a tree and stockings are up

I feel like I was pretty late with everything this year as well. I just got the main part of the place done earlier this week, and our bedroom yesterday. (Christmas sheets, a runner on the dresser....even though no one will see it!) The "office" and guest room are sill a huge mess! I at least want to get the guest room looking good, and we can use the office as a "staging area" if need be, for wrapping....plus all the food from the dogs that I am boarding....
