Just curious, how long did it take you to get pregnant with number 2? Was it longer or shorter than with your first? It took us 8 months with Mini Pbj and I'm wondering if it will take that long with number 2?

4 months with DD1.
1 time with DD2 (oopsie baby).
For me, it coincided with weight loss challenges at the gym, so I was exercising a lot more and eating much healthier both times I got pregnant. No more weight loss challenges until my husband gets the snip.

It was about the same, although technically when we actually got pregnant, we were taking a short break (I just wanted to deal with my emotions from losses). So it was a happy oops for LO2. We had planned to start TTC again the next month.
LO1 - 6 months total (including 1 loss)
LO2 - 8 months total (including 2 losses)

DS 1 was 3 months,
LO 2 was month 1 - my ideal was actually 3 months again so was a surprised it happened right away!

It was less time, but once we figured out my issues, it's been pretty quick each time. I have endometriosis and a luteal phase defect, so after a laparoscopy to clear things out and clomid, I got pregnant with #1 (12 months) and 2 (3 months), and using vitex for #3 (3 months)

I don't think I'm the norm but I got pregnant the first month with DS#1 and it took 14 months with two losses before I got pregnant with a sticky baby this time (I'm 26 weeks now). I developed a diminished ovarian reserve issue in the intervening years (we waited until DS was 2.5 before trying for #2 and I had just turned 35).

@josina: I'm kind of nervous about that! That I'll be planning/hoping for 6 months or so and it will happen right away!

It took way less which was a big relief and surprise. With DS1 it took us nearly 2 yrs with fertility treatments. With this current pregnancy, it took us about 2-3 months once my cycle became regular after an IUD removal.

@Mrs. PBJ: Its so hard to plan for! We were actually sort of trying NOT to get pregnant (pnp) and failed miserably.

I have long cycles- usually 40-45 days
LO1 - 13 months (3 cycles, miscarriage, 5 more cycles)
LO2- 1st cycle (I had ONE period after LO1 and promptly got pregnant again, which shocked me)
We're about to start TTC for LO3 and I'm curious/nervous!

4 months with DS #1
2 months with DS #2
Both times, I was surprised when I actually got pregnant because I was convinced it wasn't going to happen at that time.

#2 has been much harder. Or DD was conceived on month 5, after an early miscarriage. It took us 18 months for #2 and that included 23 and 10 week losses. Currently 27 weeks and everything is going well.
