My twins are now 4.5 months. We have been feeding on demand and use the 90 min sleep program for naps. I know so many people recommend using a hard and fast schedule for twins from the very beginning, but we witnessed failure to thrive in another infant in our family in part because of newborn scheduling, so it just wasn't an option for us.

But now that they are older/bigger/stronger, I think we all would benefit from being on a more consistent schedule for the day and night. We are willing to nap/night sleep train as part of this, since I don't know how I would get them to nap at the same time without them being able to fall asleep independently.

The 90 min sleep thing has been great for getting them to nap, but I feel like it kind of makes us really inconsistent for bedtime and morning wake times. So I'm not sure where to begin starting a schedule. If one wakes up in the morning or at naps, should I be waking the other up? Should I be trying to feed them both within say a 1/2 hr window each time?

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
