Kinetic sand? My 4 and 6 year old LOVE it, we've gotten the ice cream treat set and it is hands-down their most played with item, it just stays on our kitchen table they play with it so much.
Another game suggestion: Sequence for Kids, my 6 year old loves this one also, and fun for adults too if she's an only.

We also do games. Rat a tat cat, sleeping queens, go nuts for donuts, trash pandas, ticket to ride first journey, taco cat goat cheese pizza, space escape, and zombie kids are all great
