Likes Lego's (but he has SO much I don't know if it's a good idea to get more, he can build the really complex sets meant for older age groups), his v-tech smart watch, his iPad and Teen Titans Go (I can barely find any related toys tho).

My daughter's six and all the boys in her class love the Beyblades.
Our go to right now for boy parties is a magic trick kit.

DS (7 yo) also love LEGOs and can build anything from scratch. A couple of his favorites from a recent birthday party:
Board games such as mastermind and scrabbles
a magic kit that doesn't involve water and goo (and mess)?
any LEGO set that includes a gift receipt is still a safe choice. It is always our go to gift for boys. We received a ton of those for our party, while it is unsurprising, I like that we get to return it (haha - truthfully, we get wayyyy too many gifts), or if we don't, DS always love to build them.
We have received 2x movie ticket vouchers with candy and popcorn attached to it, it was actually very nice as we get to go to the movies the other day with it.
Last but not least, his favorite was a small stuffed animal that a girl gave him from his birthday party. It was soooo weird.

Is this for your LO or someone else? If it's your own, I would suggest a scooter. Maybe a magazine subscription? My 8yo son has been getting various magazines for years and loves them.

@SweetCaroline: Ok this just sounds so much fun in in general
@Ajsmommy: I think his mom will want to kill me for getting kinetic sand hahaha. But we have at home and my kids really love it!
@kiddosc: Ooo, really great ideas here, thanks!
@misolee: I have totally heard of Beyblades tho not really understanding what they do haha. I like the magic trick kit idea!
@irene: Hahaha awww he secretly loves a stuffy from a girl. I love it, so sweet! The movie idea is really cute! He is the oldest of 3 so it could be a great idea too to get a one on one or two on one special date.
Thank you all! So many choices... Party is on Sunday so I'm gonna go with whatever I can get Prime on Amazon lol!

@lamariniere: Oo any magazine rec's? Not my LO, my nephew and I'm unsure if he has a scooter since it's just getting into spring and we haven't played outside with them much.

@graceandjoy: I'm not that familiar with what's available in the US market, but I do remember Ranger Rick being interesting. My kids get story and science magazines in French and they absolutely LOVE them. I don't know what the equivalents are in the US. One of my DH's aunts gifts the LOs a subscription every year and it's seriously the best gift that keeps on giving.

DS just turned 6 and loves to read so we got him a 3 month book club subscription with Usborne. He just got the second month in the mail and was so excited.
Other hits were LEGO, a Spirograph and a crystal growing kit.
