A Barbie jeep!!! My parents never heard the end of it and I'm positive my girls will receive one from the grandparents in the future just bc of my pouting as a child. Lol

I wanted an American girl doll and my grandma bought it for me I was so happy. I still have my two AG dolls.

I got an American Girl Bitty Baby back when they first came out. It came with some beautiful accessories and I still have it all!

I always wanted a real dollhouse and a train set. Never got either.

I didn't get Hungry Hungry Hippos till I was in college and then I understood why my parents didn't want to get it for me (it's a loud one!). I also didn't get the Snoopy Snow Cone machine till DH bought it for my birthday a few years ago.

A Barbie car. I had the dream house and my dolls ride around in a tissue box.

I finally did get the 'vette, as a 40th birthday present. My husband found it, new in box, with the original price tag, $13.99.

I wanted a Jem doll. My parents got me the Rio doll, he was the manager and the purple haired drummer who was black. My parents solely bought me dolls of color because they were worried about me having an identity crisis. The white Jem doll was the only on that light up earrings though. So frustrating! All they had to do was ask me why I wanted *her*.

Barbie Powerwheels, wanted it soooo bad and never got it. I remember both sides of this, I got a ton of gifts but always went without at least one thing I had asked for. I think it's probably a good thing to experience a little of both. I did get an American Girls Samantha doll which I loved and plan to give to my DD when she's older.

A horse (not a pony, they are jerks) and the Samantha American Girl doll. Couldn't afford either one

I always wanted one of those area rugs that had the roads printed on them for matchbox cars. Pretty sure I didn't get one because my mom was sure a cat would have a hairball on it.
