Never too early to start, right?
DS is Leo Henry. I don't want to do another L name. Some of my faves are Zoe, Maya, and Emma (to give an idea of the style we like). Any other suggestions?

@travellingbee: I like Audrey and Claire..Olivia, Elle, Ava and Sophia are too popular I think

@hilsy85: A girl!!!!!! Amaaaaazing!!!!
Obviously, you know I like Claire. Also on our lists are: Emma (but way too popular) Anna, Audrey, Anne, Jane, Paige, Cora, Corinne, Colette & Caroline (but I don't want another C), Etta, and Jenna.

@wrkbrk: I like Mia. Maxwell is too masculine (and Max is a top choice if we have a boy for #3.

I love Clara with Leo! I do like Mia but it seems too close to Leo, maybe. Here are some others I like:
Abigail
Gemma
Lila
Elizabeth (Betsy, Libby, Liz?)
Caroline
Mila
Ruby
Grace
Alice (my DD's name so I have to throw it in!)

@Pirouette: I like Scarlett but DH vetoed! Can't do caroline (close friends just used it)
@twodoghouse: Love Ruby and Gemma...my niece is Grace. I love Lila, but don't want another L name. Abigail and Elizabeth are a bit too traditional fo rme.

I like all of your names but Emma is really really common, don't know if that matters...

@travellingbee: @hilsy85: Our DD was almost Cora! It was our second choice. Love it with Leo, too!
squash / 13764 posts
@mrscobee: it does, I don't want her to be one of a million Emmas...so prob too popular for us!

@HLK208: thank you!!
@Mamaof2: I have an aunt with that name...would feel weird about using it! Those names do sound cute together tho!

@hilsy85: A girl!!! Congrats!!
I obviously love the name Charlotte, but Cora is another one of my faves and I think it sounds really cute with Leo - both short two syllable names!
ETA: I don't know where I got that Charlotte was on your contender's list - this is what happens when you get distracted by children midway through reading a post! But I saw Cora was mentioned as a possibility further down and I'm throwing my support behind that name

I love a lot of the names mentioned! Esp Zoe, Mia, Nora, Cora...all sound great with Leo!
Hmmm what about Fiona, Nina, Tessa, Mila, Chloe...
squash / 13764 posts
@Ree723: ha no worries! Charlotte is a super popular name around here, so I think it's out for us.
@NovBaby1112: LOVE Fiona and Chloe as well!

Love Leo!! Congrats on the ! If #2 would have been a girl, our top names were Hadley, Meredith, and Cora.

Haha BTW I was going to suggest Ruby too but I was like " she said violet for a middle, I can't just list colorful names" my dh vetoed scarlet too, for a middle. Maybe it's a guy thing!

Ahhhh!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Your appt must have went well!
Eleanor Kate popped in my head for some reason.
Coraline. Mila was going to be our girl name.

@Pirouette: Ha well I don't think I could do Ruby Violet, but I like them on their own!
@shopaholic: thank you! @Beehive: thanks!
Cora is really popular!!

Well, our girl names are Maggie, Julia, and Cecilia, if this baby is a girl. Our daughter's name is already up there more than once, so I won't mention that. I love your son's name. (Out for us due to our last name, though!)

i like mila a lot! i like zoe, but it looks too much like leo to me. maybe i'm just weird about letters.
hazel, nora, elodie, genevieve, georgia, maeve, rosalie, evangeline, vivienne
i really like wren, but it may be too out there for you.
i would throw out Rowan, but since i want L and R to get married one day, i don't think he'd want his wife and sister to have the same name.
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
I love Maeve. DH is vehemently opposed to it which breaks my heart because I just love it!
Our top contender if #2 is a girl is Julia.
pear / 1696 posts
@hilsy85: my fav of the ones you listed is Zoe
How about: Stella, Nina, Sadie
Edit: just read through the posts- i love Cora too!

@birdofafeather: ha, it's true, that might be too weird for L!. Although weirdly, I know someone that happened to...
squash / 13764 posts
@shopaholic: @shopaholic: @Ginabean3: I like Mila, but I automatically think of Mila Kunis...I also don't know if it's one of those names with a pronunciation that could go various ways. Like Mee-la, or MY-la.

Lots of good name suggestions! I love Cora as well, so pretty. Another name I didn't see mentioned is Naomi.
Maybe Chloe, felicity, Evelyn, or Meredith?
With Leo I like Cora, Fiona or Naomi.
