@Mae: my name in spanish class was Mercedes! I got called Merced. I came to love the Spanish name.

People (aka my MIL) have said that my older daughters name is strippery or porny, Ivy. So she always calls her "ivers" or something else. annoying......I don't see it as a bad name and never would've thought about it like that.
