This has been making the rounds on my Facebook feed today. I admit that I haven't read it in its entirety, and I'm not even sure if I will (as I return from my child's 1-year appointment, at which he received 3 God-hated vaccinations). Has anyone else come across this recently?

Ugh, I saw that this morning. I don't know that I even want to read it. The people on my FB that are posting it are very vocally anti-vaccine and like to shove religion down your throat, so I don't know how much I'm going to like this article!!

As a Christian, I don't think anyone can say what God does or does not support unless there is valid scripture to back it up- which in this case, there is not. I will definitely choose to vaccinate my children.

Is it me, or are they mixing routine vaccination with fetal stem cell studies?
Because I have very different feelings about both.
Vaccines I chalk up to the parrabel of the man in a hurricane.
Someone comes by to warn him to evacuate, and he says "I'm not worried, God will provide."
He has to escape to his roof when the flooding hits and a helicopter tries to pick him up and he says "I'm not worried, God will provide"
someone comes by in a canoe and he says "I'm not worried, God will provide."
But when he dies, he asks God why he didn't save him. And God says "You idiot. I sent three warnings to you and you didn't listen to any of them"
I think God can work through humans. that's why we have doctors and other healthcare workers. God helps those who help themselves.

But, apparently she thinks enemas are also a necessity if you're "detoxing". Okay. And her husband is a doctor. Awesome.

I started to read it but couldn't make it all the way through. And the comments are incredible. So is this woman saying that she is the second coming since she is speaking for God?

@mrsjazz: I don't think she knows what she's saying. I read some other stuff, and apparently the bible can be taken literally when convenient, and sometimes is also a metaphor. Subject, of course, to her own personal whim. There's also all the business of the stuff that I am pretty sure just comes from inside her head-- like the whole thing about kids with measles=Jesus' BFF but vaccine injured kids=#nogodforyou. I was just really confused. And a little sad. But mostly confused.

@Mrs.ThinMint: It's not what you are thinking. Most vaccines are made in chicken eggs. The Rubella vaccine is made from a human cell line that was derived from an aborted fetus. The way I look at it, that abortion was happening anyways and this way at least, something good happened. The other cell lines she is mentioning are not used in vaccines. Also, you don't have leftover DNA or fetal bits in vaccines. There are crazy-long purification procedures to take that out. That's just fear-mongering.

I would just like to point out that while yes, God doesn't make mistakes but our sin brought bad things into His perfect creation. He also gave use brains that He wants us to use to their full potential, to His purpose & so that we may live lives that grow us in Him. Vaccines, the making of & giving of, do that. As far as abortion goes, not getting vaccinated won't stop abortion & no one if forcing abortion just so they can do the things she claims they do here. So there's that. She seems like a pot stirrer to me.

Someone posted this on my newsfeed. I just can't with the stupid. She says she's no longer going to vax her kids because she's pro-life. So much wtf. If you're truly pro-LIFE, you should be pro-vaccine because vaccines save lives.
