@rahlyrah: Well, it's not like science ever evolves. No need for current articles! They'd be the same!

@Pepper: she obviously is not going to let something as small as a child's health stand between her and *eternal salvation*. and to echo you, "the dumb, it hurts."

@dreamocracy: They do! WHY do they??
I'm all for differing opinions. Seriously. All about it. But have a rational argument. Don't spout nonsense out of your behind like you have an intestinal virus and expect me to change my opinions when it doesn't even make rational sense! Her arguments are incosistent. They don't hang together. Some of them are out-there enough that I can't imagine anyone swallowing them, even *with* the crunchy religious coating. It's good for a head shake. I will give it that.
@Mrs. Jump Rope: She called her husband man meat? How did I miss that little gem?

@Mrs. Twine: agreed. i read some of her posts (WHY?!) and every one was super angry and throwing a bunch of nonsense out. people wrote thoughtful comments and she just battered them with more nonsense and anger.

I'd like to point out that while yes, thou shall not kill is apart of the ten commandments- however, God sends his son Jesus to this earth to be brutally murdered and uses that as the greatest gift for christians: salvation and reonciliation back to God. So yeah, God can use something like murder for good and for His glory.

I totally LOL’d at her “about our family” part and the inclusion of not owning a microwave as being important enough for a mention. Like, I was totally ok with the not medicating at all, not vaccinating at all, home births, etc. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NO MICROWAVE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

@yoursilverlining: She also mentions that they "greatly limit the use of technology in our home."
....yet she has a blog.

@whenoceansrise: I thought it was hilarious/ terrible when she said God does not support the sacrifice of the few for the sake of many. Umm...that is the basis of Christianity.
nectarine / 2053 posts
@jedeve: exactly. she needs to get her stuff together for real.

@blackbird: Ah-hahaha! That made me snort quite loudly! The schmeasles!

@whenoceansrise: this. and when jesus came he clearly said the greatest commandment is to love one another. Greater than the 10 commandments which was BEFORE He came. A big part of a christian's calling is to love one another before our own needs. It makes me so so sad when I see these kinds of blogs because it just makes the anti-christian movement all that much more stronger.
God is indeed perfect. And we sinned. And fell from grace. Perfection was no more once we sinned. Our bodies aged. We became sick. Because we were now separated from God. So yes ... viruses and diseases are all man made horrific things. But saying God is perfect, we are perfect as he made us is about as silly as saying, we never need to change because the minute we were born we are perfect. Sin changed all that. we are NOT perfect anymore. the minute we are born we are separated from Christ. Only through his grace are we saved. But that's our spiritual salvation. This body is still broken and expelled from paradise. So her argument that our bodies are perfect as is and vaccination is harming our god given bodies is so confusing. it's so hard to hear her "preach" such blatantly flawed theology. I believe in honoring the body God gave us. using it to further his glory. But it's almost like she's idolizing health and natural remedies under the mask of religion.
