How realistic is it to get out the house with a two month old and a 2.5 year old?
My youngest is due in the summer, and I'd really love to pull DS out of day care while I'm on leave (after I feel mostly recovered) and take him places he doesn't get to go now. I wish I could do that with him later, but once I'm back at work, he'll be back in day care for ten hours a day every weekday. That leave us the only chance I'll get.
There are no stroller accessible train stations where I live, and keeping a car here isn't an option... even if I wear the baby, we still have to deal with either several transfers or tons of stairs to get anywhere that's not walking distance. Plus I've no clue how to handle poop explosions outside the house Any tips for not being stuck at home will be welcome! If you think I'm being ridiculous, I'll understand too
