E and I both. He's been oscillating between being super crabby and super lethargic...I think some fresh air would do us both good.
Unfortunately, though I'd really love to take him for a walk just to be outside the weather is so crappy...cold and wet. And DH has the car so I'm pretty stuck today.

I know what you mean. LO has a pretty bad cold (runny nose, coughing) so I don't want to take her anywhere (it's been cold & rainy here). We've been stuck indoors for about 3 days now

@MungBean: yeah, been three days for us too. I might bundle us up anyway, but E's been sneezing and coughing a lot, and we have a freezing rain weather warning up, ugh.

Me toooooo. I have a two week old and it is flu season so we are pretty much stuck. And it just snowed.

Yes! 5 weeks of not being cleared to drive and there's NOTHING here within walking distance.
Tomorrow's my doctors appointment so I am looking forward to being cleared to drive and get out of the house!

@WinnieBee: My month is just getting ramped up. Ironically, one of my partners (I primarily work for our managing partner) just came in to see me - to ask how I have been adjusting. I was honest without being too honest, and he very sweetly told me not to worry and to take the time I need. Coming back has been so much harder than I thought it would be.

Very much so! I'd just started venturing out and keep reading doomsday stuff about this flu season. I'd rather be stir crazy than have my 7 week old get sick Not sure how to balance between paranoia and safety. Been taking bundled up walks in the cold though!

me too. last week, there were 4 days in a row that i didn't leave my tiny apartment. next time i'm having a baby in the spring so we can go out more and enjoy the sun and not have to worry too much about the flu.

Same here! It's been cold and icy wet for days on top of this flu epidemic stuff. There are just so many things you can do around the house with a baby before it starts to feel like Groundhog Day and you need to do something different or go somewhere!
