I teach STEM to 6-9 year olds at an all-girls school so naturally, I LOVE this! Definitely voted to see this run during the Super Bowl! Thanks for sharing!

@TemperanceBrennan: I also did the kickstart and waited for them to be manufactured. LO enjoys playing with the toy though she is very young. I am an elem. teacher and see the benefit of exposing kids to STEM at an early age.

Voted! I think the toy is a great idea/starting off point, but reading the reviews-- seems like a little bit of tweaking is all they need AND I love Rube Goldbergs!

Okay, I've been thinking about this video over the past day or so and I absolutely love the advertisement they've created. I voted for them and I really hope they win the Super Bowl spot!
I am also so delighted by the fact that it has gone viral and that so many people out there are eager to expose girls to engineering. Awesome!
However, it does irk me a little that they market the product in a pink and purple box with a bleach blond character named "Goldie" on the front. I wish they would use the same video but change the name and colors to something gender-neutral. It just seems contradictory to say that the girls don't want any more pink toys but then sell the toys in a pink box!
Okay, end vent. I still love the video though.
