We need some kind of tv stand. I want to say our flat screen is around 36 inches and we need a place for the cable box and Internet router. So many of the traditional tv stand options seem dangerous for a house with a baby! I like the idea of turning a dresser into a tv stand but not sure I'm up to a diy project eight now. Any ideas?

ETA unfortunately, it would be difficult to walk mount our tv because it's in a corner near the fireplace.
