Does anyone use google chat (Gchat) during the day? Im always on!

I use it with just one friends. She is overseas so it's super convenient and affordable for us.

I am always on it, just because my gmail is always up on my computer. I never use it, though. Maybe once.

Nope, I'm usually on Skype though, since thats how my mom gets ahold of me over here.

I used to use it all the time, then my mom got gmail and facebook, and wouldn't leave me alone! Now I never have the chat on for either of them. If there's a friend I really want to talk to that won't answer their phone, I'll go on in invisible mode, but it's rare these days.

At my old job I was on it ALLLLLLL YAAAAAY LOOOOONG. It's how I survived the day at work! Now I don't have the time and our IT team watch more carefully. I don't HB from work either, just my phone (which is why I'm less active during the week-its a PITA!)

The only person on there is my dad lol. I am on FB chat all day though.

I rarely chat with anyone these days, and only use it if I have a specific reason I need to get a hold of someone. I don't use it to "chat" with friends when I'm bored. I used to LOVE chatting (via AIM) for hours, not sure what happened and when I got so boring...

We use gmail for our work email. So I occassionally gchat my work friends. Or I can gchat the IT guys instead of calling them, which is handy. Sometimes I have to go invisible though because students try to gchat me and it's not appropriate.

Yup, I'm on it all day-- I use Trillian on my work computer, which supports a lot of different IM applications, including GChat. I think it's probably my primary mode of communication!
