So I've only ever had a Chicco infant seat, and Graco convertibles. I need help
My mom ordered my sister's twins the Graco SnugLock SnugRide 35 LX with TrueShield Technology. I assume they need the SnugRide SnugLock LX base, but I honestly can't find anything to confirm that because all the 3 base options say they work with all click connect seats.
Anyone know for sure?

@Sams Mom: You can use any of the bases - though the different bases do have some different features. This is the base that (I believe) comes with the seat you linked, if you want them to be the same:

Snuglock base is so awesome - I loved ours! Perfect for twins when you may need to use seatbelt over latch to fit them both in. Just adding since I feel like this seat doesnβt get enough love

@bhbee: I've always been intrigued by it, but already had my keyfit 30 when I saw them for the first time. Then I realized the Nautilus came in a SnugLock option, after I bought a regular one. I keep missing out on them.

@catgirl: not about the Graco, but have though read much on the new Chicco Fit4? (Their version of the Graco 4ever)
I love my 4ever, but I've always looked at the myfit, but haven't bought one. We wouldn't be buying one until this baby out grows her bucket seat, but just curious.

@Sams Mom: if you have a bucket and won't be using it from birth I'd go with a less expensive convertible seat and then just get a booster when they outgrow the convertible. If you keep your kid in a booster until 4'9" you'll likely have to buy a booster after the 4in1 seat expires anyway π€· I think they're great if you don't go the bucket route but since you have one already I'd skip it.
We ended up getting our daughter a harness to booster seat and passing down the convertible for our main car

Sam is 3'8" at 3y8m, and I just wish he came with a growth chart that told me how big exactly he would be at each age so I could make better decisions about car seats.

@Sams Mom: I have heard of it but haven't heard or seen any of the specs yet - so hard to say. When it comes out I would pay attention to the maximum harness height and the maximum booster belt guide. But since your son is using the 4ever forward facing I would pass that down to your new LO when you are ready to put her i a convertible - the 4ever fits reliably from birth or if you use a bucket seat first switch her to the forever when ready. If you still have the extend2fit you could also pass that down, it doesn't always fit newborns though. Since you already have convertibles I would focus more on seats for your older.
I also agree that 4 in 1 seats are not always worth it. We had graco 4evers which we loved and we got for a crazy steal but we didn't start using them until DD was 11 months and she outgrew the forward facing harness at 4.5 so we had to buy a combination seat. SO it didn't end up being a forever seat for us.

@catgirl: we were planning to use the extend2fit for baby in the babysitters car, with bases in mine and my husband's vehicles (or swap the base to sitters and extend to fit or baseless install in husband's). I will need 2 more convertibles eventually for her even with passing down the 4ever.

@Sams Mom: if you are planning to start with a bucket seat I would wait to pick out convertibles. You never know what seats will come out in the next year or so. And you can always install the bucket seat without the base if needed.
