I like to think I'm pretty good with proper grammar and spelling.
Two faults though:
Bad at punctuation. I use too many commas and too many dashes.
I always misuse 'it's'. Not when I'm combining 'it is', but when referring to possessions and other what-nots.
Oh, and spelling anything related to rhythm - that one takes me a couple tries!
What do you have trouble with?

When do you use "whom"??? Also I confuse i.e. and e.g. ALL THE TIME. Oh, and the difference between "that" and "which" - I never know which one to use in certain sentences.

Given that I'm an English teacher, grammar and spelling are my thing, but if I can't immediately think of how to spell a word when I am writing on the board, I use a synonym!

Apparently. Every single time I type it out, I turn the e into an a. I really don't understand why I do this, because I spell the word apparent with zero problems, but apparently (and yes, I just did it again) adding that -ly to the end really messes with my head!

@Mamaof2: Oooh, that's actually one I know! I remember VANE - Verb is Affect, Noun is Effect! So you might affect something. Or something might have the wrong effect. Hope that helps!
