Has anyone been to one? Will a 20 month old have fun there?

I was just saying to my husband that we need to go, and he was like "Are you joking, because our son loves the water so much." My son isn't a water baby, so I have no idea if a toddler would have a good time. I think I would, though, lol.

@looch: hahahha my SIL goes to the one in PA a lot with her sister and their kids. They love it there. It's kinda halfway between us so I was thinking of joining the next time they go which will be around Xmas.

@looch: wow! I didn't realize how much it is per night!!!

@regberadaisy: I think it's on the expensive side because it includes the water park.
I have no idea how much a standalone water park costs though, to know if it is a good deal.

I stayed at the one in Grapevine TX on a business trip! Long story but the convention hotel was all booked up and that was the overflow one. So... yeah I had a different experience there, being an adult alone on a business trip, but I think a toddler would have fun. I would think more of an older toddler though-- It seemed heavy on the bigger kid stuff.
Even though I was on a business trip, I shamelessly rode the water slides, including one where I shared a tube with 2 13 year old boys.

Never been to one but I teach 2nd grade and my kids are obsessed with it. I can tell the parents are frequently saying it is too expensive because several of them asked me "When you have a kid, will you take them to Great Wolf Lodge or will you tell them it's too expensive!?!" (Insert concerned faces here)

@Foodnerd81: that's awesome!
I've never been but saw them on undercover boss (don't judge me) and thought it looked fun! They had some kids club that seemed cute.

Looks likes a great place to bring a toddler! Can you find a coupon though? I know the one in Niagara Falls has online deals a lot. Otherwise it can be almost 500$ for a night. Crazy. I've never been, personally, but lots of my friends have brought their kids there and loved it.

@delight: Yes! I've seen deals for the NF one a lot but can't remember if I've seen for the PA one.

Sometimes they post deals for it on Groupon. I've never been but they are very popular around here, I know my 2 year old nephew loves it, but he's been in swim lessons since about 6 months old.

@wonderstruck: @delight: I just googled and there was one recently on Groupon. I think I'll sign up for the PA one too!

We've been to a couple of them - they didn't have the same rides or anything and one of them was a lot more little kid friendly than the other (Ohio).
I think for sure a 20 month old would have fun there ... and so would Mom and Dad! We love it there. It's not so bad price wise when you can get coupon codes and Groupons.

@regberadaisy: food wasn't included for me but I had a conference rate. I bet it's not usually though- they want every dollar they can get out of you!
