Any thoughts on why a 13 month old would start grinding her teeth? She started doing it today a few times while at a friend's house. She's got 7 teeth at this point. It's so loud! Also, any thoughts on how to get her to stop?

I ground my teeth as a child...the only thing that stopped it was getting braces and then retainers eventually. Hopefully it stops soon for your LO!

Ugh DS did that for a bit at that age. It wasn't a phase that lasted long. I told him to stop when I heard it but who knows if that had any effect.

It's a natural and common. There's nothing you can do to prevent it.
