I haven't had many of these lately. No poop in places it shouldn't be or open air accidents. So I was definitely due for this.
My daughter threw up in my mouth (and then all over the rest of me). And she was supposed to be the healthy one! My son's already thrown up on me twice today. There's a good chance I'm going to be cleaning up my husband's vomit before the night is over too. Someone tell me I can't be reinfected with a bug I've already had??

Not a recent one but when we were on our flight home from AL my LO was 8 months and standing next to the middle seat between me and DH. She gagged and I just instinctively put my hands out and caught all of her throw up in my hands. She must have had one too many yogurt melts. strawberry yogurt is now the grossest thing to me

Vomit is always the worst. My son was crying for me in the middle of the night and I walked in and immediately KNEW. And it was everywhere. And the only way to help him was to pick him up and get it all over myself. Aghhhhh.

More vomit here. My LO threw up all over our bed while we were on a cruise last week. I had to call housekeeping and explain that we needed all new bedding plus towels (since we had tried to clean it up). Gross.

toilet training accidents - pooping in clean undies and then taking them off and poop falling on the floor. having to pick the poop up and get it into the toilet, then mop the floor before kid walks on it!

The most recent one was mystery vomit a few weeks ago. I have no idea when it happened, how long she laid in it, or if she was sick. She acted fine the rest of the day.
I got to experience it twice. The first go around, and then again when I took everything out of the washer because the chunks were still somewhat there.

Poop. I thought I was changing a poopy diaper that had leaked, ran out of wipes, then while I was dealing with it he started pooping. Cleaned it, then he just started open air pooping again. Mind you I still had no wipes and at this point he was just going on the changing pad. All I had around was cloth wipes which I just threw out because I couldn't deal with it anymore, and then I ran out of those too.

My LO just majorly grossed me out the other day. He likes to flush the toilet after I pee, but this time he stuck his hand in the toilet as it was flushing. In surprise, I yelled "don't do that!" So he then takes his hand out of the toilet and promptly sticks it in his mouth. I only had to wash his hands which isn't so bad, but I was still majorly icked out!

@avivoca: Ewww, chunks! At least today's puke was all breastmilk/formula. Not looking forward to the days of real chunky vomit!
@spaniellove: Oh man, we had a few experiences like that when Alice was little. She had a knack for open air pooping. Once I came down from taking a shower and my mil was standing in a sea of clothes and diapers and wipes and she just looked at me and said "there's poop on the walls." Ha! Funny now, but not so much then!

Oh yes lots of chunky nasty vomit here. Yesterday I took LO to the doctor and he puked all over me in the waiting room and I had no change of clothes. I had to sit in vomity clothes until I got home. Horrible.

We're potty-training right now, so lots of pee and poop, but that doesn't phase me. A month or so ago he started projectile vomiting and I was catching it in my hands! He was panicking and turning around all exorcist style....it got ALL over our kitchen. Luckily D volunteered to clean it up and let me handle E...I wasn't even sure how to start cleaning up that war zone!

Aw man. You know you're ready for your first baby (baby fever here!) when you giggle reading these and it doesn't gross you out. 2 years ago I would have been gagging lol

DD woke up in the middle of the night a couple weeks ago. While she was awake she pooped so she took off her diaper. At that time I had been giving her lots of juice to clean out her system. With her poop being runny to the point of paint consistency my little artist got to work. She painted her entire white bed brown with poop. Talk about a nightmare to clean. Literally ended up having a mental breakdown and sat there and cried for a while.

In the backseat of a cab during our trip to Mexico I let DD play with my phone because there was a lot of traffic and it was taking quite a while to get where we were going. Looking down in the car, coupled with all the stopping and starting must have made her motion sick, because all of the sudden she turned green and I knee vomit was coming. I threw my cupped hands in front of her and caught her entire regurgitated breakfast (watermelon, yogurt, scrambled eggs and toast) - blech!

My favorite (haha?) puke story is from last winter. I was in my late first trimester and still knee deep in morning sickness. We had been over my moms house & Chloe was on a cake kick. Every time we visited my mom, she had cake for Chloe. It was an after lunch treat. This particular day, she had confetti cake with rainbow colored sprinkles. I'm sure you can see where this is going.
So, I'm like 11 weeks pregnant and I'm half way home when Chloe tells me her tummy hurts. I pull over into a shopping plaza & she throws up. I didn't get her out of the car in time. There was rainbow colored puke everywhere, the sprinkles didn't digest yet so there's full sprinkled everywhere. Ev-ve-re-where.
And it's like, 6* outside and I don't have a change of clothes in the car and she is COVERED in puke. I had nothing to clean this up and it's exorcist style vomit in my SUV. The entire back seat looked like a crime rainbow scene. Holy. Shit.
We made it home and she threw up again. I couldn't take the smell anymore, and I threw up in the drive way. At this point, she and I are BOTH crying and I called my husband at work and told him I am so sorry, but I can't stomach this anymore and I'm leaving this rainbow puke fest and he has to deal with it when he comes home.
It was a disaster. He had to put on a mask to clean my car. He wasn't thinking and sprayed the driveway down with a hose, and everything turned to ice.
Such a disaster.
It's been a full year and we won't eat confetti cake or sprinkles.

My daughter pooped in the tub last week (she's almost 20 months and hasn't done this in about 6 months). I realized she was pooping, grabbed her and put her on the toilet. From the tub to the toilet, she pooped on the floor. As I was cleaning it up, while she was chilling on the toilet, I kept seeing more poop on the floor...because I had stepped in it! Luckily (?) I was wearing slippers.
