As I mentioned in a previous thread, I used to be a big Grover superfan and kinda dislike Elmo... but then I saw the Elmo documentary and heard the puppeteer say that Elmo's key personality train is Love.
Aww... now I kind of like him. But I like Super Grover more. So for me, it goes like this.
Super Grover > Elmo > Grover
Charlie doesn't know there is a Grover... he only knows Super Grover.
Anyway, who do you prefer: Elmo or Grover? What about your LO?

Elmo! I was so obsessed with Elmo in college. I had tickle-me Elmo and this Elmo that was dressed up like Elvis. Maybe I needed more love while I was in college?

Yeah, I was a Cookie Monster girl all the way. But since you didn't ask about Cookie Monster (how rude!), I'd say Grover > Elmo. Elmo just annoys the crap out of me.

@Mrs. Yoyo: I was always mad at Cookie Monster because he wasted all those perfectly yummy cookies. He just crumbled them and they all fell out!

DD hasn't seen sesame street, but she does have a toy remote with cookie monster & an elmo book that she loves. I don't really have a preference, I like both. As a kid, I loved Ernie & Bert a lot, & Big Bird!

DD hasn't seen Sesame Street and I think my favorite was always the Count. Up until recently DD loved Elmo but recently she has been asking for Big Bird or "bir" as she calls him (Sesame characters are on the diapers we use-Elmo is on all of them but Big Bird isn't).

I loved grover too, maybe because my sister seemed to like elmo and he seemed "younger" so i tend to go with the more mature muppet.

I've always loved Grover, and I really like Super Grover; DD likes Elmo, but I feel like he is just better marketed. You just don't see a lot of "Tickle Me Grovers," or "Grover Loves Me" pj's out there.

I loved the Elmo documentary too, but I like the character of Grover more. I grew up with all the Grover books, and it was way before Elmo's World. I am all about old school Sesame Street - back when Snuffleupagus was still Big Bird's imaginary friend!
