Does your LO have a growth chart on the wall? Which do you think is better a decal chart or a wooden chart

I voted wood only in the event that it's not the home you'll live in forever.... Seems easier to move.

I want to get a wooden one, because we will almost definitely move and I'd want to keep it. Plus it seems easier to use with two kids.

I agree with the prior posters, the wooden one can travel with you where as the decal is going to stay in the home it's installed at first! (unless you put the decal chart on wood yourselves and put DH to work =))

I love the wood one, I plan on getting/making one for ours. I love the idea of being able to take it with us!!

I voted for the wooden one because you can take it with you when you move. We bought a jute one for LO. My mom made markings on a door for me when I was growing up and it was such a bummer when we moved and had to paint over it.

I'm a fan of the wood, plus should you ever move or your LO outgrows the ruler as part of his/her room decor, you can take it with you!

We got a wooden one because we'll be able to take it with us anywhere and I loved the rustic look. They're all expensive on Etsy, but there are a lot of DIY tutorials out there too!

But of the two, I like the giraffe best. It just seems more kid friendly.

I think the wood is awesome, although I love the look of the decal. I'm also looking one that can travel with us, and I have the gross "popcorn" paint treatment on my walls, so any decals don't work for us!

I had this one made for my nephew for Christmas, and I plan to use a piece of barnboard we used down the centre of our tables at our wedding to make one for our LOs!!

I voted wooden just cause it is mobile. You can easily move that from house to house and a decal you can't.
