Is it possible my 5 week old is going through a growth spurt? She is eating all the time today! She's not just eating a little either. She's eating 3oz at a time at very frequent intervals! Is 5 weeks a normal time to go through a growth spurt?

There's a big spurt around 6 weeks - but babies aren't all the same and she could be having hers a little early!

Yes! I think our baby had her "6-week" growth spurt around 5 weeks too!

Yes! LO started her growth spurt during week 5 and it lasted into week 6. Maybe 4-5 days? Much longer than the 3 week growth spurt which only lasted 2 days.

I swear my LO went through a growth spurt every week. HAHA

I am with @Chopsuey119. I swear at that age my LO went through a growth spurt all the time. So, I would just follow the lead of your LO and remember it all ends in time.

I think my LO had non stop feedings around the 5/6 week mark! It was exhausting!

my son did at 5 weeks. he went from 7lbs to 11 lbs at that age.
