I am going to the new H-mart on Friday. I have never been to one - I am so excited!!! I have literally been thinking about this all dang week. What should I buy?? I want to cook more Asian food!!

So many things to buy! Make sure to get bulgogi meat, LA galbi, rice cake! Kimchee, Milkiss Yogurt softdrink, banchans (side dishes)! -
oooh you've got to try the pre-marinated meats!! So easy to just throw on the pan (or oven, or grill). I also of course can't resist the popsicles... melon, coffee, strawberry, and red bean!!
their produce is usually so amazing as well!

just watch it with the LA galbi... I got a couple of really disappointing batches
but I've heard it's just our hmart. It was so thin, grilling was almost impossible. But all the other meats I've tried were awesome! a little overpriced but so worth it if you don't have time to marinate yourself.

@Andrea: Making marinade is SO easy. Literally just puree'd garlic+onion+brown sugar+soysauce! If the pre-marinated is expensive just grab the unmarinated stuff!

@Andrea: dried seaweed, onions, garlic, beef! (I've used beef brisket and filet mignon). Doesn't make a difference.
It's SO easy. You can also make a seafood version using clams or mussels instead of the meat.

I agree with the marinated meats. Makes dinner a breeze, or you can buy the meats and marinade separately so you can freeze parts of it for future use!
I love their produce and fruits!! Great selection and super cheap!

Popsicles?? I didn't know they have yummy ones, I'll have to look for those next time! I don't go often because the closest one is 30 mins away, but I LOVE stocking up on huge jars of kimchi and gochujang (sp?) sauce.
