anyone have crazy amount of hair loss post partum? i'm surprised i'm not bald yet. i want to say i had zero hair falling out during pregnancy, but right now, it's coming out in clumps. kinda gross. kids always have a hair or 2 of mine on them or in their hands lol.

Yup, completely freaked me out. Ladies are saying it'll likely fall out till about 7months pp. sigh.
I'm getting my hair chopped on Wednesday and hopefully it'll help!

I've heard that it totally common since you don't lose as much hair during your pregnancy. Sorry it's happening though!

I didn't have crazy hair loss.. Just the normal pre baby amount.

Yes it's common. You are actually losing the hair (normally) you would of lost during pregnancy but didn't. Yes, I felt like I was going bald too. Wait until you have mini bangs (when the hair starts going out)

Random warning to be really careful about checking the babies. When I was an infant I ended up in the ER because one of my moms hairs got wound really tightly around my big toe and cut off circulation. About a month ago I read an article in msnbc that this is actually a really common issue! That's my PSA for the day : )

@Mrs. Sunglasses: oh, that will be tons of fun. i had baby hair forever and it was so annoying waiting YEARS to grow out lol.
@MamaMoose: yeah! i heard that, which is why i'm always careful about checking them for my hair.... from the beginning, even when i wasn't really losing hair. feels like i just started losing this much over the past 3 days or so.

@tequiero21: I had really heavy hair loss from 3 months to 6 months postpartum. My hair is super thick and I didn't really lose any during my pregnancy. It finally slowed down and is back to normal now (11 months pp).
