For those with babies that are too young to go trick or treating. What are you doing if anything if you got them a costume?
M has a costume but we're not going trick or treating. With the weather too who knows if any will come to the door! They're not doing anything at day care either - bummer! So I'm putting her in a Halloween outfit to daycare. And probably costume for the trick or treaters coming to the door if any. And at least snap a few pictures.

We didn't do anything last year. I bought M a pumpkin costume and we took pics at the pumpkin patch.
This year we're taking her trick or treating

My little one is 2 months old, and we're just going to hang out inside and see if any trick or treaters come. She is going to dress up as an owl though!

We are doing pictures with cousins. It's a bit cold to take her out and she's a kinda sick right now.

sooo recently found out my husband is pretty against halloween... I've always been "meh" about it. I was thinking of just dressing him up and going door to door to meet the neighbors and making cookies or something - but DH said no. Bummmmmmer.
Oh well. Cobi goes to bed at 7pm anyway.

I think we'll dress him up for the trick or treaters and maybe walk to our neighbors to show him off if he's in a good mood

@cvbee: not sure, we haven't got into it. But his parents are really conservative Christians so his mom is really against it. He was a mama's boy and quite honestly until marrying me never really had reasons for why he believed certain things lol I've challenged him to really know why he thinks the way he does sooo we'll see what happens.
I come from the same type of family so I get it, I just don't think it's as big of a deal of our families make it out to be.

We went to a Halloween parade with Lil in her costume this past weekend, it was really cute, but she slept through the entire parade haha! On actual Halloween we probs won't do anything, we get 0 trick-or treaters at our house!

@cocobee - I don't quite understand what their is to be against Halloween? Unless your dad is like Charlie Wonka's dad and look what happened there! LOL! I kid, I kid, of course!
I would probably just dress up LO and post some cute pics on FB and send it to family.

We dressed our DS as a pirate and visited our parents, my DH's sister, and our grandparents. DS is 7 months old. Our family loved it.
@cvbee @shopaholic @coco bee... We have some families in our church who are against it because they don't like the scary, darker aspects of the holiday and feel like it is celebrating the devil/demon type things. Honestly, I don't like the scary part of Halloween and can't stand scary movies and what not, but dressing up our DS in a fun costume is just so cute! At this point I don't see the harm in dressing him up for fun to take pictures and visit his grandparents.

Our main street closes off downtown for trick or treating, so last year when LO was little (and this year too when she's not as little) we went down there and just walked around and watched everybody. Then we came back home, put her to bed, and sat out front with the monitor and handed out candy.

I took her to daycare in her pumpkin outfit. They looooved it. The other babies there were dressed up, too. That's all we're doing.

last year we took LO trick or treating for his first halloween. this year we're going to a nearby mall as they're hosting an event for kids.
