We had lunch with my family and dinner with my in laws yesterday. Later this morning, we'll be going to the in laws for a special new year's breakfast. Yum!

Stupid Nemo messed with our plans.
We were going to drive to NYC to spend it with my family. Instead last night it was just the 3 if us doing a last minute hot pot.
If we were in NYC we would've been getting ready to go see my grandma. -

@regberadaisy: Sorry that Nemo messed with your plans, I know you were looking forward to celebrating with your family. Will you be able to make it down at a later date? But hotpot is always fun.

My husband has to work Saturdays so he has to put in 2 days off and I had requested Monday off. With being at a new job that is technically temp to perm I don't want to push my luck and ask for more time off.
But I'm planning on flying down with just M for a quick weekend. We'll see. -
Happy new year! We got together with family yesterday and made a few phone calls this morning. And its back to normal today! Maybe we will brave Chinatown later.

Happy New Year!!! We celebrated with DHs family last night - about 25 people. I'm seriously pooped today. Just the 2 of us today...relaxing. Baby Shopaholic received her first "lysee" red envelopes and I just left them waiting for her in her crib for now.
