Thank you and happy mother's day to you too! It's been nice, the boys and DH woke me up with cards and coffee beans from my favorite coffee shop. It's beautiful today after a week of rain so I snuck out for a quick jog and a mani and we're having my parents over for dinner. DH is grilling steaks, per my request.

Thank you and happy Mother’s Day to you!
DD tested positive for covid on Thursday so I’ve been taking care of her. I’m still testing negative even though we had the same initial exposure but she had two additional days of exposure after. She was feeling a bit better today which was nice! She planned an at home spa day (thanks to a fancy Nancy episode 
), so we did face masks and cucumber slices on our eyes! And had chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling cider. It was very sweet.
DH works weekends, so wasn’t expecting him to be around anyway. But the long haul clinic advised DH to complete isolate from us, so he can’t even hang out with us when he gets home tonight.
So, not a perfect day (and I’m going a little stir crazy being stuck at home) but overall a nice low key day.
