Aww. That was sweet!

Today I was at the grocery store & was checking out while on the phone with my boss, so I was totally distracted. I was getting in the driver's seat to leave & this woman walked over and asked if I had bought milk & oj because she hadn't & she thought the bagger had accidentally given her one of my bags. I hadn't noticed, she could have kept it, but she brought it to me & I really appreciated it!

I took Benji to an urgent care clinic a week or two ago due to an allergic reaction.
They didnt take our insurance, but were the only place open at 11pm. We were prepared to pay the $150 fee despite being low on funds.
Well the doc spent 45 min with him, and couldn't give us an exact reason for the cough....but gave us several leads to try. When I went to pay the bill on the way out, the receptionist told us that the doctor had said not to charge us.
So nice of him!

Yesterday. I was waiting in line at the toll booth and a guy in a car pulled up next to me and he needed to cut in front of me because the booth he was in line for was closed. I smiled, nodded my head yes, and waved him over to get in front of me. When I went to go pay my toll, the attendant told me that the guy in front of me paid my ($1) toll! It was so nice of him! I'm waiting to find something to do, to pay it forward

@Bao: wow that was really nice. I would keep his number and when its time to get a new furnace call him.

@Bao: that is so nice! I have been actively trying to think of ways to do RAK... so far this month I met two ladies at a park and let them try on my carriers (and then one of them borrowed my ergo for the weekend).

My favorite thing to do all the time is stop and ask if families want a picture taken together (usually one parent is taking the picture just of the kid, or of the other parent & kid). So easy, free, and usually well received!

I did a random act just to pay forward how sweet my OB was to me the other night. Our tenant is a single mom who is a bit older than me and just had a baby. Father is out of the picture, and she's struggling. She asked if I had any extra clothes from DS that I could spare. I told her that we were saving for #2, and then secretly ordered a whole mess of clothes for her in the next 2 sizes that she'll need for the baby and had them delivered to her last week. I honestly just can't imagine doing anything in regards to DS without my DH, so I just wanted to help her out a little without drawing attention to myself.

Sunday when we went to the fair there was an older couple standing right outside the gates and they just gave us two admission tickets! It was so kind

We just got back from Bali and had so many random acts of kindness, but the two sticking out are:

1. Upon getting in the massively long immigration line in Indonesia, a customs agent saw us and pulled out us out of line to go through the diplomatic line instead (no one in that queue, as opposed to hundreds of people in the normal queue). So immensely grateful, especially as our baby was completely overtired.

2. Same thing upon arriving back in Australia. A border patrol agent came over to us and said we looked like we could use a break (we were exhausted after a full day of travelling and a very unpleasant experience with our airline) and pulled us out of line, opened up a new counter just for us, and then walked us through. Once again bypassing a queue that would have taken ages to get through.

Small things, but they made us happy.

A couple weeks ago my husband started talking to one of his customers and they got to talking about kids (my hubby cant stop talking about ds!) and she had a boy around the same age. well she comes in a couple days later with a bag of washed clothes that her son outgrew for us! so sweet and thankful!

Today LO was home with me and we went shopping. LO is just learning to walk (while holding my hand), and naturally walks super.duper.slow (omg, hurry up babby! lol). An older woman held the door for us and kept congratulating LO on her walking, even though it took us forever to get to/through the door.

It was a small thing, but really made my day.

This elderly man gave me some tickets for a merry go round. We needed 4 tickets and got 3. Soooo nice of him!

For me, I was grocery shopping and was finishing up my bagging. The lady behind me was checking out and said she left her wallet, if she could put the things aside and get them later. I said I'd pay for it. She made me feel really embarrassed because she was soooo extremely grateful. She wanted my address to pay me back. I wouldn't give it so she made me promise to go by saks where she worked so she could give me a lil something. I didn't go, but I did feel really good about helping her out. Luckily, it didn't come out to much haha. My shopping can get in the 200s.
