I've noticed that more and more people seem to believe in climate change these days... at least around where I live. Maybe because Hurricane Irene and Sandy battered the NE region... and more recently, there was Snowstorm Nemo.
Plus the heat/drought/fires last year was pretty intense.
Has all this crazy weather made you believe in climate change more? Or have you always been a believer/skeptic?

I'm still undecided but I will say that as a child growing up in PA, we certainly got a LOT more snow and much earlier on in the season than we do now that I"m an adult in NYC. The weather is pretty much the same here as where I grew up. But before I believe in something like climate change for sure, I would need to do more research and not just examine the past 20-30 years but like 100+ to look for trends.

I've always believed in climate change, I feel like these recent weather extremes have definitely converted some people though. It's happening, people can debate whether or not it's pollution driven or just a naturally occurring shift, but it's happening.

It's not something with a need for belief in my view. There is pretty irrefutable scientific evidence that guides my way.

Actually I think that the earth goes in cycles of hotter/colder etc... but there just hasn't been enough scientific documentation to show these cycles.
could be wrong but that's my theory!

I have always believed in climate change; though I think its becoming more and more obvious something is going on over the past few years! I agree with @MrsJacks though; it’s not really something I “believe” in….it seems obvious from the research and data out there it’s happening, whether we believe or not.
