I just picked this up at the library, along with next months book club book ;), and I was wondering if anyone has read it? I don't really know much about what it is about, but I'm hoping it's good!

I haven't read it but it's on my to-read list. I love John Green (I watch all his and Hank's YouTube channels lol).

I have. It's really good. I think I cried 90% of it. I stayed up late finishing it, and then couldn't fall asleep because I was convinced I had cancer
Some parts of it are a little unrealistic, but overall I thought it was a really great book.

I love John Green. He's one of my favorite YA authors. If you like this one you should read "Looking for Alaska" next!

It's sad, but so worth it. I finished it and flipped back to the beginning and read it over again. There are a few beautiful quotes in there.

John Green is fabulous. I loved this book, and his others, and he is really popular with my students as well.

I just finished it and was sort of meh about it. I thought it was somewhat predictable so it didn't have a strong tearjerker effect on me (and considering how emotional I've been this pregnancy, that's saying a lot!). I'm glad I read it but it's not something I would race to read again.

Meh, I read it for my book club but wasn't overwhelmed. It made me anxious in terms of the perspective of having a child with cancer though!

@MrsKoala: I picked it up on Black Friday (Amazon deal) after your recommendation on my book post a while back. It was so sad but so good!

It took me a while to get into it but I did end up liking it and bawled my eyes out!

@mediagirl: So glad that you liked it! It was definitely sad and sometimes hard to get through but the story sticks with you.
