My 32 month old daughter has always been a good sleeper. We were lucky that we didn't have to really sleep training her when she was a baby. The only times she had sleep issues were when she had fevers. Traveling never affected her sleep either. Just this week, she's been asking to sleep with me. She did sleep with me for a couple nights while my husband was away on business earlier this week. My son has sleep problems too and I didn't know how to deal with both of them during bedtime. He came back today so we're able to divide and conquer again. I did her bedtime routine as usual, put her down and left her room. She yelled for me and cried/yelled for less than 10 minutes. Then she got up, took her sleep sack off, turned on the light and became quiet. I peeked under her door and she is right by the door sleeping (at least I think she is now, it's been 10 minutes since she got out of bed). Should I just leave her there for the night?
I do not want to repeat the mistakes we made with our son, but how do we fix this?
