I'm in a restroom at a facility I am visiting for work. I was in the stall for a bit.... and the lights went off. Pitch black in there. I had to stand up and walk out of the stall to get them back on again!! And that standing up couldn't happen for a while either....

This used to happen at my old work building. Really annoying and kind of disconcerting, especially when pregnant...

The lights at one of our customers building does this. The lights are on a sensor and they had the timer set too short. At my dad's job they have them set up on the door but it only has one toilet, so it kicks on when you walk in and off when you walk out.

Oh no! That is so annoying.
In my previous office the bathrooms didn't have sensors but the offices did. If you sat too long they would go off. We were always swinging our arms to turn them back on!

Omg- not in a bathroom. But like @KT326: my office is all sensored like this. It’s annoying, and we are also doing weird arm moves to turn them back on.

This happened to me in a shady AF gas station bathroom on a road trip last weekend. I flipped out.

Yes, this happens at my work but you can wave your arm or kick open and reclose the door to make them come back on.

This happens at our building. All rooms are programmed to turn off the lights after inactivity. It'll happen in the middle of meetings but worse is when it's in the bathrooms.

This happened to me in a restroom at a restaurant recently. At least the switch was in the individual stall!
