This just happened tonight. She got a little overzealous with the flaps.

@autumnlove: Mine destroyed the same one! DD read it several times a day for like 2 years before DS ripped the flaps off, though, so I think we got a pretty good run out of it.

I've put away any non-board books. But she's rough even with her board books.

@autumnlove: She also destroyed one of her favorite books that has pictures of little kids, she was so excited by them! I need to buy some stock in 3M because of all the tape I'm using.
@aprk: We have 2 indestructible books...but why is it that neither of them are LOs favorites?

M destroyed her favorite board book recently. I think DH just let her eat it since it was keeping her quiet. Grr...

I ordered several indestructible books for baby showers. They do seem sturdy, but I kind of wish there was a little bit more to them picture/content wise.

@mrsjazz: She is eyeing her Tails and Dog books by Matthew Van Fleet...the pages are sturdier but I'm still afraid!

He hasn't yet. I only let him have board books and fabric books right now. I'm sure a destroyed book will happen eventually though...

@MrsF: My DH does that too! Anything to keep them quiet I guess. :: shakes head ::

Yep! Goodnight Moon took a swim the other night. I turned my back for half a second while I was running a bath for DD. When I looked back, Goodnight Moon was floating in the tub. I didn't even realize she brought it into the bathroom with her.
