Hellobee Boards

Ha ha. We call D is a Parselmouth (from Harry Potter, someone who can speak to snakes in snake language). He is always going, "Haa-saaa-shhaa..." It's really funny, but also a little bit weird/creepy.

My LO hasn't yet but I used to be a nanny for two separate families & I have seen the little ones on the video monitor waving, talking & laughing with something outside of their crib just beyond the view of the monitor. I always watched intently while they did that but I'm not gonna lie, I usually wouldn't go get them from their room until they were done being scary lol

& I used to babysit for a little girl who would sleep walk...that always freaked me out!

Omg, that is hilarious and creepy!

I hate when LO looks past me and points over my shoulder at what appears to me to be nothing.

I heard a story - my friend's niece, a toddler, was going through a family picture album and pointed to her dead aunt, and said oh that's Karen! Karen had been her imaginary friend for quite some time - and no one had ever talked to her about her dead aunt Karen. She said that Karen takes care of her and tells her that she loves her and that she is beautiful. Kind of heartwarming, but honestly, really creepy.

My son will make funny faces and roll his eyes back! Freaks me out!

Sometimes, when I'm nursing LO in the dark, he looks up at me and his eyes look so black...I try not to freak out, but I've seen too many horror movies, eek!

DS is always looking over my shoulder or leaning to one side to intently look at something. Like with a death stare/captivated look. We never know what he's looking at when we look in that direction. Sometimes, it's just an empty wall or dark room...

@Mrs. Sunshine: @mrsjazz: @chibee: @Alivoo01: @yoursilverlining: my little cousin used to play in his room talking and when his mom would walk in and ask what he was doing he would say he was playing with grandma or wave out the window and walk to the door she would ask what he was doing and he would say grandma is outside and wants me to go outside and play with her. It was so creepy. He played with her for a while. ( she had died I think before he was born or while he was an infant)

Before our video monitor bit the dust we would watch E sleep for a bit before we went to bed. One night he sat up, looked directly into the camera for a full two or three minutes, not moving, and I'm convinced he didn't even blink. And his eyes were glowing from the night vision. He then fell back over to the side, dead asleep.

I'm pretty sure he was never actually awake.

DS had an imaginary friend while living in our old house (Joey). Our old house was in fact old and had a creepy basement. When we moved into our new house, DS never brought up Joey. After about 3 or 4 months of living in our new house, my sister and I were talking about how DS doesn't talk about Joey anymore. So my sister asks him, "what happened to Joey?" And DS said, "Joey died in the basement. He's in heaven now." *shivers*

I don't believe in ghosts/spirits at all, but kids can be so creepy!

@lovehoneybee: DS did this before too and it really freaked me out! It was around 2am and I just randomly woke up to look at him in the monitor and found him staring right back at me! Eeep!

Just to add to the creepiness...

When my little brother was in early elementary school he started having issues staying awake in class. My mom said he looked terrible for weeks and she finally realized he wasn't sleeping at night. So her and my dad sat down with him and finally got him to open up about what was wrong. He told them that a man was in his room and he couldn't sleep because he wouldn't stop talking to him. So my parents played it up to imagination until he said the mans name was Jerry.

They instantly knew who it was, walked to my brother's closet and pulled out my great uncle Jerry's urn. My grandmother had spent a couple of weeks with my parents between a move to her new house and had brought her brother Jerry's remains with her so they didn't get lost. She forgot them in the closet since she stayed in that room. The super creepy thing was that my uncle Jerry killed himself like a decade before my brothers were born and they likely hadn't even heard his name before. They certainly didn't know he had been cremated. Needless to say Jerry left my brother alone after he got sent back to my grandma's house.
