so I went to Italy for about 9 days sans kids. I came home and my daughter was fine and came to me. my son screamed and cried and didn't want to come to me. wouldn't let me hold him, but he was totally fine with my hubby. we think he was pissed at me for leaving. cuz he said I was his "umma", so he knew me, but he didn't want to come to me. he's better today, thank goodness. geez, my feelings were hurt. is it just me? or is this normal?

Today at daycare, we are dealing with seperation anxiety. I handed her off and she screamed and yelled "momma momma" as I walked out the door...heartbreaking. First time she's done this at daycare, usually she's fine and goes straight to her sitter.

She doesn't get mad, but sometimes when I leave and come home she will be team daddy. I think it's just who she's used to being with at the time though. I'm with her all day long so she's usually team mommy.
