Nope. We're trying for nap #4 right now...all have been about 40 minutes. Sigh.

Yep. I've got #2's nap schedule down. He takes two 2-3 hour naps a day and a shorter one right before he goes down for the night.

Yup, two 3-hr naps so far, one more nap to go. Hope your day gets better!

@chopsuey119: so jealous!

@chopsuey119: dang! He still sleeps so much? Is this boy ever awake??
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
@Andrea: HAHA. He's up for a pretty long stretch before sleepy time.
8:30pm- bedtime
6am(ish) wakes to nurse, I put him back in pnp and he passes out.
between 9am-10am wake
nurse one side
play for 30
nurse other side
11am back down for nap. (fusses a few mins before passing out)
2-3pm wakes up.
eat. play.
4ish back down
Then he's up from 5-6ish til bed time at 8:30.
I think he sleeps well because he's so fat. I don't know.

Pretty good, considering! He's had two naps of just over 1 hour each...not very long, but his naps are usually only half an hour!

@chopsuey119: yes, I have heard that fat babies sleep more. Lol. He is sooooo cute.

Yes! But, she's only eight weeks, so still in the sleepy phase, so I don't think it counts. She's an awesome sleeper though. THANK YOU, JESUS!

She slept 2 hours total but is happy so I can't complain.

Don't know yet... we shall see when I pick her up from school : ) It's been rainy here all day and that usually makes for good naps for her!

Unfortunately, no :o( My poor dad. LO never naps well for him. He got 30 minutes in the morning and only 20 in the afternoon. Probably because he slept 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon for my BFF yesterday!

Ehhh they've been okay but he's been giving me a hard time going down for some reason. He's been doing so well recently too. It's frustrating.
pomelo / 5331 posts
Yes and no. Took 45 minutes to get him down for nap #1 but he slept for an hour and a half. Fell asleep in 5 minutes for nap #2 but only slept 30 minutes. Took 20 minutes plus nursing to get him down for nap #3 but he slept for an hour and a half. Currently trying for nap #4 as he screams his friggin' face off.

YES! We went to the zoo this morning with some friends and she ran all around. We got home a little later than usual but she went down for her nap at 1:00 and has been asleep for almost 2 hrs

It's been okay... she's taken about 30 minutes longer than usual to go down but she woke up happy from her 1.5-2 hour morning nap! We'll have to see about how this one goes, she's been asleep about 10-15 minutes...

Such a weird day.
LO was up early (her new thing this week) went down for a nap just after 9, we woke her at noon (thinking, wtf) and now it's 6pm and she hasn't napped since. She was pretty nuclear earlier, (DH has her in bath right now), we tried to get her down in crib, with paci, on us, in car.....wouldn't go down, so this is an insane stretch and bedtime will be 6:30, we'll see how that goes.

Both of my kids are pretty decent nappers. My son naps for a good 2 hours and my daughter takes 2 longish naps every day. My son has been skipping some of his naps lately but it's not too often. I NEED them to nap to keep my sanity!
