DS tested positive for flu A and B last week. Keeping the kids separated was really hard and now I was up all last night with DD who is running a fever and totally not like herself.
Please tell me I have someone to commiserate with.

That sucks! No he's never had it but we have always gotten a flu shot for him so maybe that has worked for him?

So sorry! Knock on wood, flu shot has worked for us so far... But having two strains at once, well that's just cruel and unusual punishment! Hugs mama!

No flu yet this year. We've had pneumonia and another chest cold so far. I feel like he's always sick.

@winniebee: we all got flu shots about two months ago! He got flu mist though and I recently read the strains are weaker. It does make me grateful we got shots, I would have hated for him to get even more sick.
@Mrs. Jacks: so cruel and unusual! I couldn't believe it when they said he tested positive for both. @ladybee: it feels like when one gets off antibiotics the other is one them, I've felt like we've lived at our peds office the past month!

I've had it before. But knock on wood, Zuma hasn't had it yet. We don't get flu shots. So sorry he got both strains

We've all had our flu shots this year and will hopefully stay healthy.

Say a prayer...send us good thoughts. My other child just tested positive for flu today. It's been a hard week!!
