TV isn't great (as research shows) but I think my son has learned a lot from some of his TV shows. He watches Daniel Tiger and has picked up some really good skills, like learning to share, anger management, and dealing with scary experiences (like going to the doctor's office). I'm sure this can all be taught without TV exposure but it's been really useful for us in applying these learnings to real life. He learned (from Daniel!) that it's not enough to just say sorry if you did something hurtful to someone else. You should also ask "How can I help you feel better?". He used to say "Ok sorry" but not really mean it. Well, he started asking his preschool friends "How can I help?" and his teachers thought it was great and praised ME for it. I told them he learned it from Daniel the Tiger! haha, Have to give credit where credit is due!

Has your LO learned anything useful from TV?
