My kids are 4 1/2 and 6 1/2, and they don't have a strong parental preference at this point! They love to spend time with either of us, and they seem to love it the most when we all spend time together as a family.
I mean secretly of course I think that maybe the kids prefer me, but realistically they don't have much of a preference either way.

NOPE. I mean, I guess a little as compared to the WORST of times, which was from 3-9 months where my husband literally could not try to feed LO or put her to sleep without her flipping the f out and melting down. At 2 he can feed her as well as I can, he can put her to sleep with only minimal tears when she has to leave me. But otherwise? No not really. If I'm home she wants to be with me and is not even okay staying with her dad while I leave the room for 5 minutes. Or even 1 minute. I literally can't pee alone without her melting down even if he is home. Sigh.

DD is 5 and prefers me but is fine with DH too

DD is pretty 50/50 but she tends to want to play with Dad more and want to know what he is doing more than me

YES! He used to only want me. Now he is just as happy spending time with DH as well. Sometimes he prefers daddy over me! Gosh! Thank God! I am finally off the hook a bit

@mrbee: No, but whoever is home the most is the preferred parent, and that has changed.

It's much much better, but the mommy preference still comes through if they're really upset, sleep deprived, or feeling off.

DD used to have a super strong mommy preference, but has now flopped to a daddy preference! I am currently pregnant and didn't feel well for a couple months, so I guess she decided that DH was more fun to play with. I'm a little sad, but it's also super nice to see our daughter willingly get picked up by daddy and go to him for cuddles and stuff.
