Winter in Florida has been crazy hot this year. I think we've had 2 cold fronts. Ive only gotten to use my fireplace twice, and I wore my awesome new scarf my mil got me for Chanukah once. The rest of the time it's been flip flops, tank tops, and sundresses and I'm still sweating!

I'm an hour from the coast in southern NC and it hasn't been very cold here. Last year was ridiculous- it snowed 3 times! So this year, by comparison, is warm. I think there's been a couple weeks of "really cold" weather (to me) but other than that its been in the 50-60's most of the time.

I think that winter forgot about us! And I can't say I'm sad. Maybe two cold snaps and that's it (I'm in Canada). I heard that Europe got our winter and we got theirs.

Not so cold, knock on wood! Last year was a nightmare - Sweden's coldest in record history! It wasn't just the cold, it was the lack of sun and early pouring of snow.
This year looked and felt like fall up until just a few weeks ago, as in the fields were green in late December! Only about a week or 2 ago started to look like winter, but the temperatures haven't been as low as last year and the best part - sun!
They say this is a normal winter. No flip-flops and tank tops though ... but much, much better than last year and the year before.

It's been cold in Switzerland, it is the Alps after all, but it's warmed up significantly.
Parts of Europe have been really hard hit, esp. Eastern Europe and Italy. People there don't have the equipment to deal with really cold weather and lots of snow, so sad.

It's been so mild! I'm not complaining. We had 60 degree weather on Saturday, snow/ice Sunday night and it was in the 50's again yesterday! I love it!

It has been SO mild this year, I'm actually worried about global warming!! Haha. In New England we would have had several major snowstorms by now, closing schools and taking out power lines. The biggest snow so far was less than 3 inches, and every day is usually around 40-50 degrees farenheit. We're glad because we can take RJ to the park almost every day in the weekends, but I wish he could experience his first deep snow. We haven't even used his snowpants yet!

Everyone seems to have such nice weather! I'm jealous, I guess this is the one time I'd rather be up north for a winter.

It's been really warm here too (central IL). We only had one "real" snowfall and it's never gotten really cold. Most winters there's usually a few days that I have to wear long underwear under my work clothes - but not this year! I consider that a success!

I'm in Canada, and we have only had 'real' snow 2x, and neither were enough to warrant shoveling our driveway... DH is hoping that we can make it through the entire winter without having to shovel once! We also hope to be able to buy a snow blower super cheap at the end of the season (because I'm sure it'll catch up with us next year).

It's been pretty mild, only 2 big snows here, and they weren't even that bad compared to previous years. We can't complain too much!

Nope. I was hoping it'd be warmer so she wouldn't be too cold, but this is going a little too far. I guess I'll take pictures of her in her winter coats b/c she can't wear them.LMBO

Our winter (Wisconsin) has still been pretty cold....we have had some days in the 40's though!!, but we haven't really any snow yet. A couple of "storms" that we got 2-3 inches.....but I think we are still going to get a good storm with 12-18+ inches before winter is over! But I'm not complaining I'm loving this snowless winter!

Our winter (in Northern VA) has been mild compared to what it usually is but it isn't warm. It's been in the mid 40s mostly with some days in the 50s and even 60s. I still can't wait for summer though. @artbee: Id SO much rather be in hot weather all the time then ever have to deal with even being in the 40s & 50s!

I'm in Florida, as well, and it has been really hot this winter. It doesn't seem like anyone's beach going and pool hopping has slowed down at all. A lot of our good friends surf and haven't even needed spring wetsuits to keep warm. Just boardshorts and bikinis. I'd be really annoyed by it all, except I'm pregnant, and for some reason am absolutely freezing most of the time. It's been a good thing that the weather's been so warm.

It's been ridiculously mild in PA this winter. Not quite tanks and flip flops, but I'm usually quite comfortable in a tee and light cardigan during the day. Our only big snow was around Halloween, and we've only gotten a couple dustings since then. I was just telling my mom yesterday that I've had Louisiana winters (where I spent half my life) that were colder.
I'm not complaining, but I do love the snow, and it just feels...weird. Like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. The weather patterns the past few years have made me uneasy.
So glad it wasn't snowy this year. Snow + baby = pain in the butt!
